Babycakes Logo Redesign

Babycakes, a provider of unique nappy cakes as gifts for new parents, wanted to update their logo to create a more modern, clean, and sophisticated look, while maintaining a friendly vibe. The previous logo was illustration-based, and the goal was to create a simpler and more versatile design.

The new icon concept is inspired by the rolled clothing and nappies that form the tiers of the nappy cakes. It represents a stylized interpretation of these rolls viewed from the top. To complement the icon, a lowercase font was chosen for the wordmark, lending the logo a more approachable and friendly feel. The font’s rounded shapes align with the organic nature of the icon.

The logo was designed with variations to ensure flexibility across different marketing materials and collateral. This new design offers Babycakes a contemporary and adaptable visual identity that appeals to their target audience of new parents and gift buyers.
